Putting Idyll's of the Rat King on Hold

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to put Idyll's of the Rat King on hold. I did not come to this decision quickly or lightly but I feel it is the right one for me at this time. I have a lot going on between Family, Work and the shear amount of work that needs to go into the creation of a module have me swamped.

I am however not getting completely out of the module creation fun, I have offered to help Wyrin with the recreation of the city of Marsember for his Dark Avenger series and he has accepted my offer.

I am looking forward to assisting Wyrin in this effort and hope to have some areas created in the next few weeks.

Nice to hear that you're not completely out of the modding community, Delak. I'm sure Wyrin will keep you busy enough with that city.

Still looking forward to the Rat King though! ;)

Thank you Jclef. Yes he is we have already had some good email discussion on area break down and such.

I am also looking forward to finishing Rat King, I hope once this is done I will have the desire and time to work on all those things I hate, ie dialog, custscenes and ambiance for the village.

It's great you've decided to keep building by helping out on other projects. In this way, you can also concentrate on what you like doing best, and keep having fun with the TS.

Have a good time!

Hello. I understand your setting aside your project. Demands on my time are why I have never even really started a mod. However, rather than just drop everything, have you considered maybe loading what you have on the Vault and letting someone else maybe pick up where you left off. Perhaps someone needs a prefab that you have completed. This could insure the work you have already put into your project deosn't go to waste. Just a thought.

I really haven't given that much thought to that idea. I will be coming back to it I think in a few months. Also I am not sure how Mr. Goodman would feel about that as even before I started this I ask for his permission to recreate the pnp module.
